Job Description:

This job description communicates the high-level requirements for an Associate Consultant - Project Manager. As an Associate Consultant, you will be sub-contracted to provide project/program management services to InScope’s clients.

The nature of the projects will vary from client to client, but the core competencies, and skillset required for successful project / program completion, client satisfaction and goal achievement are standard to this role.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As InScope’s Associate Consultant, you will provide senior leadership and direction during all phases of a project - from project initiation to project close-out. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership and depth of experience as you lead your team to:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project;
  • Define the project scope, goals and deliverables;
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules;
  • Identify project tasks and resource requirements;
  • Manage project budget;
  • Plan and schedule project timelines;
  • Track project progress using appropriate tools;
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Ensure quality in all project deliverables;
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders;
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions;
  • Exercise proper risk management practices;
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs; and
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results.

Education and Experience:

As an Associate Consultant, you have:

  • Attained relevant academic qualifications;
  • Industry standard professional credentials, such as PMP, PgMP, and/or Prince2;
  • Post educational certifications in ITIL, Prosci, or CMC;
  • Experience working as an intermediate to senior project manager, and managing mid-to-large size projects;
  • Thorough knowledge of project management principles, and their application in real-life;
  • 10+ years of project management experience in multiple industries and sectors;
  • Experience leading teams and budgets greater than $250k, preferably over $1M;
  • Proven experience in resource management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management; and
  • Proficiency in project management software.
